A movie portraying one of the characters from the Cop Wars series, Pyotr Nabokov aka Apostle (Anatoly Uzdensky). Somebody has put a contract out on Apostle, there have been numerous attempts on his life. Nabokov doesn’t know who is behind them but he needs to set the record straight for not only his life is at stake but also the life of his recently found daughter. Apostle has a lot of enemies. Perhaps the hit on him was ordered by Pantelei (Sergei Komarov) with whom Nabokov has a conflict over business interests. Or maybe it is the revenge of his old nemesis Degree (Igor Volkov) who has just been released after 20 years in jail. Apostle cannot put his daughter’s life at risk. He decides to send her abroad. And right on time, since just as Mila (Olga Ivanova) leaves killers break into Apostle’s home. Nabokov’s quick reflexes and vast experience help him stay alive. Without telling anybody, not even his daughter or his chief of security Reutov (Konstantin Strelnikov), he makes an unexpected move. Enlisting the help of his old friends he starts his own investigation. The truth he will discover will be a lot more terrible that he could ever imagine
